Volume 24 of the series was the furthest east George reached along the south coast. The lines included were originally part of the London Brighton & South Coast Railway starting at Drayton to the east of Chichester as continuing as far as Lancing. The Bognor and Littlehampton branches are included.

Heading away from the coast the Midhust branches from both Lavant and Pulborough are featured together with the southern part of the Mid Sussex line from Arundel to Christ’s Hospital. Finally the branch from Christ’s Hospital to Bramley & Wonersh is included.
