Signalbox Registers

Each volume in the Signal Box Register series includes details of every known signal box within the area of coverage together with line maps, photographs and a selection of thumbnail views of signal box diagrams.

The arrangement of coverage in each volume is geographic primarily aligned to the regions that came into being on the formation of British Railways in 1948. Volumes are:
   1. Great Western
   2. Midland (Railway)
   3. Eastern (Great Central, Great Eastern, Great Northern, Cheshire Lines)
   4. Southern
   5A. London & North Western Railway (south)
   5B. London & North Western Railway (north)
   5C. Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway
   6. Scotland
   7. North Eastern
   8. London Underground.
   9. Ireland & Isle of Man.
Each volume includes sections on the RailRef system and the relevant SRS classifications of locking frames and signal box types.

Some volumes are now out of print but may still be obtained in electronic form and others have yet to be published.

A corrigenda sheet is available for the first edition of volume 1 (Great Western).
A corrigenda and Addenda sheet is available for the London Transport volume
and a corrigenda and Addenda sheet is available for the other volumes and editions published so far.
