The Signalling Record Society
Blyth & Tyne
The FARSAP Project was given an opportunity to record the mechanical signalling on the Blyth & Tyne lines immediately prior to resignalling and reinstatement of a passenger service on what is being marketed as the Northumberland Line. There are three films in the series:
Part 1 covers the signalling between Newsham and Ashington.
Part 2 covers signalling at Lynemouth Power Station (not impacted by the 2024 resignalling).
Part 3 covers the North Blyth Branch.
This video is intended for viewing at a maximum screen resolution of 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high. Please be aware that viewing at a larger size may result in a loss of clarity and a 'grainy' appearance.
